About me

My name is Jake Austwick and I'm a software engineer that primarily programs in Python and Ruby. I graduated with a First Class Honours in Computer Science from the University of Hull.

I have over 6 years of programming experience under my belt, with 4 of them having been spent in the freelance world. I started out developing websites as a hobby project; however, it didn't take long for me to start taking work requests. From there, the referrals and recommendations kept arriving until I was working full-time.

Earlier in Life

I have always had a strong passion for entrepreneurship and bringing ideas to life, and I possess the driving force to make these ideas successful. This started back in high school when I successfully operated an eBay business that sold electronics and gaming equipment. My next venture in high school was "Mumbo Design", which is a web design service specifically tailored towards eBay businesses. I identified this niche from my previous project and pursued the opportunity.
